WASHINGTON - President Bush has used his weekly radio address to urge Congress to do more to ease the economic worries of many Americans.The president Saturday said even though the economy is growing, American families are concerned with rising energy prices and the cost of health care.

The president praised Congress for passing recent energy and tax bills. But he said he was disappointed in a spending bill that he signed earlier this week. He said the $555 billion budget bill was loaded with wasteful special interest items, mentioning a prison museum and a sailing school.

The president said his resolution for the New Year is to work with Congress to keep the economy growing, to keep taxes low and to ensure Washington spends money wisely.
